Work Center Supervisor / Gas Free Engineer / Fire Marshall / QA Craftsman / Search & Rescue Swimmer / Surface Warfare Specialist Experience: Managed team of 10 and ensured repairs and readiness management of over 20 separate emergency response systems. Completed 2 force revisions of work center maintenance systems and redeveloped with significant improvement from failing to 92% efficiency rating, the highest in the Pacific Fleet amongst all work centers in the fleet. After this, I was asked to assist other ship work center supervisors with maintenance system force revisions. Took charge of lowest performing emergency response locker and team ensuring 100% qualification rate, material readiness and efficiency, transforming a once underperforming team to the commands most dependable first response team. Redeveloped Damage control training program and vastly improved ships qualification and drill efficiency and response readiness for command. As the youngest and most Junior I ensured Operational readiness of 12 MSC Ships. 297 successful casualty repairs, created Onboard Condition Inspection process and again significantly improved fleet performance. Developed Command Fitness Program and ensured a 100% fitness test rate across two cycles and an increase in score command wide.

Leading Petty Officer / Divisional Manager / QA Assurance Manager / Project Manager.
After two demanding assignments I was awarded full choice for my shore duty. I chose FL to be closer to family. At SERMC I was assigned as Divisional Leader and headed the closure inspection, training and repair teams. Revising and implementing a new inspection and maintenance process along with correlating training systems we were able to achieve a significant increase in proficiency and efficiency. Implemented QA Process, resulting in rework moving to an astounding low. Millions were saved in cost and man hours dramatically reduced.
Took Over the Closure Division in charge of all water tight closures, hatches scuttles, missile hatches, anything that opens and closes. Divisional Efficiency was in the red with majority of jobs going over budget and past schedule. Team qualification was in the red, shop was underqualified and untrained.

Door MAT ( Material Assessment & Training ) program in which we brought failing ships into operational readiness and included inspecting, scoping and completing QA required Projects, including welding, machining & fabrication, sandblasting and powder coating. All schedules were met and deployment operational readiness was met, before all movements. Left with everyone qualified, Training program in the green, Efficiency in green, Implemented process in place where proven to execute objectives and near self running. Took care of all my guys ensured career growth and advancement and staying late for catch up work on projects became non existent where before it was considered normal before I took control.
